Notes for Jaochim Eric Maxilian Von Baucom: Jaochim Eric Maxilian Von Baucom: Colonel Joachim Eric Maximillian Von Baucom(VON BAKUM) 1st son of Hans(Baron Hanson) Von Baucom was born July Fifth of 1680 near Landsberg Castle by the Rhine. Where he graduated at Alcase and at Heidelberg Military Academy . enter the Germany Army in 1705 Was an officer in the Second Regiment of the Infantry. While in military service he meet and married Anna Marie Beauchampt daughter of Louis Beauchampt and the direct descent of the Mar quire de Boise (Conte de Rouce). In 1711 Joachim (Jost) Von Baucomas he was called in the English documents dated at the time of his immigration resigned from the Brothers and their families came to America on their own ships.The Brigantine and a schooner called Fatherland. Bring with them12 Families of Russian,German, and Frech Orgin.The four brothers first settled near Germantown, Pa. But in 1715 they moved to Sudbury, Mass. and bought land. In 1730 Joachim and one brother named Johann decided to move down south. So they negotiated and bought 32,000 acres in the vicinity of what's now known as Union County, North Carolina.
