Services for Willie Clyde Richardson, 60, of Roanoke were May 15, 1997 at Quattlebaum Funeral Home with Revs. Yancy Sanders and S. T. Janney officiating.Burial was in the Bethel Baptist Church Cementery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge.Mr. Richardson died Wednesday at 03:57 A.M. at the Randolph County Hospital.Survivors include his wife, Ann Kitchens Richardson of Roanoke; a daughter Susan R. Huckabee of Roanoke; three sisters, Lucille Morton and Francis Hamby, both of Roanoke, and Lois Brown of Honduras; a brother, Herbert H. Richardson of Roanoke; and two grandchildren, Lindsey Smith and Daniel Huckabee, both of Roanoke.
Pallbearers were Craig Prestridge, Howard Bailey, Roger Florence, Randy Fincher, Manley Clack and Quillian Adamson.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Richardson was a former Huntsville resident.He worked as a manager forBrown Engineering in Huntsville and a parts manager for Prestridge Ford in Roanoke.
Clyde was the third child of Chink and Ura Richardson.He graduated from Handley High School, served in the National Guard and was well liked by everyone.
