Walter Earp (b. 1787, d. January 30, 1853)
Notes for Walter Earp:
Walter Earp (1787-1853) was a teacher according to the Earp Family Genealogy and "was occupied for many years in the primitive schools of the middle [sic] west [sic]."He moved to Kentucky and settled in Russellville, Logan County, where Walter Earp taught school a few years, thence to Morgantown, Butler County (Kentucky) where he taught for a few years. He also was a licensed preacher in the M.E. (Methodist Episcopal) Church. From Butler County, Walter Earp moved to Ohio County, improved a farm and lived for about 20 years.
In 1847 the entire family moved from Kentucky to Illinois and settled in the city of Monmouth, Warren County.
