|I am researching the BOLDUC family originally from FRANCE but emigrating to QUEBEC in 1667 via the Carignan Soldiers and the King's Daughters. Later generations emigrated to MINNESOTA,USA(present-day Minneapolis area) before settling along the Red River Valley of the North (the northern boundary between ND and MN) in the late 1800's. |
My information reaches back through 14 generations to 1) SYMON BOLDUC of SENLIS, FRANCE(bef.1595) and successive generations I account for are:2)Louis Loy Bolduc ,3) Pierre Bolduc,4) Louis A. Bolduc (Carignan Soldier), 5)Rene Bolduc, 6) Zacharie Bolduc, 7) Jean Bolduc, 8) Zacharie Bolduc (different from previous), 9) Jean Bolduc (different from previous) 10) Jean Zacharie Bolduc (listed below),
11)Paul Bolduc,12) Edward Bolduc, 13)Felix Bolduc, and my father 14) Robert Bolduc. (I do have dates and spouses but will keep this short for sake of space).
I am interested in further information and/or verification of theemigration of JEAN ZACHARIE and EUPHROSINE (DOYON) BOLDUC to the USA in the1800's. Their son, Paul, married Philamen
Lapre (sp?) and they had 12 children together...including my greatgrandfather, Edward.
I have other information I would be glad to share and am interested in anything about the family along any related branch!
A BOLDUC FAMILY REUNION is being planned for the summer of 2001 in MN...we are eager to have as many as can, be there! We have
information, photos and stories to share.
Hope to hear from you!
