The William Clemons Family, Granby, CTUpdated November 18, 2003
|Researching the William (Willys)Clemons family has led me from Granby, Connecticut to Granville, Ohio to parts West and back to Massachusetts.|
The Clemons, Case and Rose families were closely intertwined starting in the late 1700's.There are still branches of the family that cannot be located; probably the ones who traveled to Illinois, Missouri and perhaps even California.
Of course, learning about my Clemons ancestors has taken me on other paths where I found that the Ashton, Claridge, Francis, Vinton, Thayer, Ames, Adams and Greene families are also among them.
As with any genealogy research, it is always a work in progress.Find one branch and it leads you to another, and so on and on.The excitement of coming across a family connection among genealogic records is what keeps any of us researchers going.I am grateful for Family Tree Maker, Ancestry and Genealogy for making my search easier.
I am always happy and grateful to hear from family researchers who share any of my ancestors.Of course, always willing to share what I have with my "rellies", however diluted the connection.
