|In the year 2000|
I have in my possession an Ancestry Book that was found near a dumpster, in Aurora, Co., along with 46 snapshots in 9 pages that look as if they had been removed from a photo album. My niece found them about 4 years ago and kept them because she knew that they must be inportant to someone. Now that I have a computer she gave it all to me in hopes that I can find this family and return their book to them. I has some historical info. about early America, mainly the settlement of Ky. It has 302 pages and 30 generations with 742 people in it. I went through it and put it in the Family Tree Maker form so it can be easily shared. The last person listed in the book is Erin Roderick Erikson (might be Lasco) born in 1972. He has a brother Sean Tracy born in 1967. By putting it on a web page might help others fill in spaces in their ancestry search. And just maybe I'll find the Eriksons.
I hope you all find this as interesting as I did.
I'm editing this page today to say that Erin Erikson has been located and is aware of the fact that I have his book in my possession, and was quite surprised that his belongings had been rescued.
Also, I discovered, on another site, more information on Henry de Bohun. He was born in 1176 and died in 1220. His parents were; Humphrey Bohun lV and Margaret de Huntingdon. Henry married Maud Fitz Georffrey de Manderville, Countess of Es or Esu. Humphrey the lV parents were; Humphrey the lll and Sybyl, sole heiress of Bernard de Newmarch. Humphrey the ll married Maud(Mathilda or Mahaut, who died 1124) daughter of Edward de Salisbury. Humphrey ll died around 1129. Humphrey the ll's father was Humphrey l (the Old) who died before 1093. He married 3 times (known) and had 2 daughters and 2 sons, Robert and Richard. Humphrey l was a companion to William the Conqueror.
What fantistic ancestors this family has.
