Michael Saunders and Margaret O'Rourke married May 17, 1852 The Genealogy information you are about to view was gathered from Historical Documents and records. The spelling of names have beem taken off the actual documents that can be collected. In most cases dates and places have been double checked for accuracy. These facts can be corrected through documented evidence at any time. I would appreciate any information that could add to this Family Tree. THANK GOD FOR THE FAITH THAT TEACHES, WHEN THE STRUGGLES OF LIFE ARE OVER, WE SHALL MEET OUR OWN, OUR LOVED ONES, AND SHALL KNOW THEM ALL ONCE MORE I dedicate this Family Tree to my mother, Maryann Priscilla Saunders, who died May 29, 1975. When she passed away, I realized that my children would not remember her the way I, and so many people who knew and loved her. It was this, that inspired me to compile this Tree. What greater tribute, except for prayer, could I give her, than to hand-down to my children, and theirs, some of the loving remembrances she left behind. In 1863 Michael Saunders and Margaret O'Rourke decided to take their five children from Sheffield, England, and sail across the Atlantic Ocean, to start a new life in South Boston. WHAT GREAT COURAGE THEY MUST HAVE HAD..
