The SCULL name can be traced back to the the Domesday Book of 1086 listed as "Scule".Other spelling include Skuli - Old English; "Skjol" - Norse; Schule & Schul - Dutch and Flemish records; modern forms are Sculley, Skull, and Scull.
Sculls came to America (New Jersey) around 1692. As a result the town of Scullville was established and a bay off the coast of New Jersey was named Scull Bay.
I have several Scull lines traced.Reese Scull b. 1814, Ebenezer Scull b. 1795, Benjamin Scull b. abt. 1755 , Thomas Scull b. 1837, Samuel Scull b. abt 1787, and my line Isaac Scull b. abt. 1780.
Other surnames in my family line are Bevis, Steelman, Urban, Wellman, Davis, Brignoli, and Tarozzi.
