About 20 years ago my father, Earl D., did some family research "the old fashioned way" on foot, in libraries, courthouses, etc. Recently, I put all of his information together and went online to try to expand his work.I have recently been doing internet research on the Sheltons who came to Stokes County NC, from Patrick County VA.
