In the PICHON family line, I am interested in any information on the descendants of Robert Thomas PICHON who was the Great-grandfather to Francois PICHON, born 1771 in Bordeaux, France.Francois was our immigrant ancestor in this family line. The current membership of this line is 4,370 as of January 12, 2007.
How Can You Help?
Our extended family is quite large. It is nearly impossible to gather some of the data we are looking for completely by ourselves. That is where interested family members, like yourself, can help.
Getting Updated to include births and deaths--among other important family history facts, stories, etc.--to reflect 2007 data:
We would like interested individuals to submit their strand's current genealogical data.To do this, you can telephone, write, or Email us.
Biographical Information on Family Members.
We have developed a Biographical Questionnaire Form that interested individuals can used to submit biographical data on a family member. We would like to have short biographies on as many of our ancestors and deceased kinfolk as possible and have biographies from any living family members willing to submit the information. The questionnaire takes about 25 minutes to fill out.
The Search for Family Photos:
We have dug up our collection of old photos that were taken of family members long ago. Some of these photos were handed down from grandparents, aunts, and uncles; others were photos we took ourselves. If you have a photo from long ago of an ancestor or a current photo of you and your family and wish it to be included in our project, you are welcome to send it in following these guidelines:
1.Send in a copy only. The photo will NOT be returned.
2.Indicate who the individuals are in the photo.
3.Indicate biref circumstances surrounding the photo.
4.Indicate who is sending the photo with an address and phone number on how to contact you.
Our Family Cemeteries:
We have a large cemetery project in progress on Dubuisson and Morgan Heir Cemeteries in Slidell, LA.Contact us for further information and for how you can hel
