|I am researching the Slavin family surname.I know no earlier ancestor than John Slavin,who was born in North Carolina in 1757, and was a veteran of the Revolutionary War.He moved to Garrard County, Kentucky in the late 1700's or early 1800's,and died in 1851. He was buried in Paint Lick Cemetary, Paint Lick, Kentucky.|
His wives were Elizabeth Graham and Catherine Pattron.He had nine children, some or all by his first wife, Elizabeth.
