McAndrew--My father, Thomas Phillip was the brother of Frank, Gertrude, & Julia.His father, Thomas Phillip, was a coal miner from Morpeth, Northumberland who immigrated to the US in the mid-1800s and lived in the Eastern PA coal mining region, probably Wilkes-Barre, before moving to Cogswell, ND to become a farmer.His mother, Bridget Murray McAndrew later moved to Bellingham, WA with two sons, James F. and John and perhaps one daughter, May.One son, William, went to Calif.James was killed in the Blue Canyon mining disaster; John was elected Marshal of Bellingham and later served as Chief of Police.
There is a link with Frank McAndrew, known for his involvement with the Molly Maguires in PA, but we're unsure of the relationship.

We have done some research on the McAndrew family in the Bellingham region from the late 1800s to 1912 and have interesting newspaper articles and information about burials. We are looking for more information, especially regarding their presence in Eastern PA, relationship to Frank McAndrew, and hisassociation with the Molly Maguires.
