Of interest to many in this vicinity is the announcement of the marriage of Walter E. Sumner, son of David Sumner on Pearson Street, to Miss Thelma Nagle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Nagle, Forth Street, Ellwood City, on Friday May 12.
The ceremony quiet but impressive, took place in Titusville, with the Rev. M. L. Scripture pastor of the Christian Missionary Alliance church and formerly of the Hoover Heights Tabernacle of New Castle, officiating with the ring service. Mr and Mrs Howard Nagle Jr., of Oil City a Brother and sister in law of the bride were the Only attendants.
The couple immediately departed for Oil City where they will take up their residence. Mr Sumner will be associated with his brother in law, Mr Nagle in the Dental laboratories there.
The bride is a graduate of the Ellwood City High School and the groom graduated with the Class of 26 of the local High School and was a popular member of the football squad.

Miss Thelma Nagle, Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard T. Nagle of Ellwood City, And Walter Sumner, Son of David Sumner of Oil City, were married Friday evening at the Christian Alliance Tabernacle, of Titusville. Rev. M J Scripture officiated.
The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Nagle of Oil City. Mr. Sumner is employed by Mr. Nagle in Oil City.
