|I am researching the names: Sears, DeColon, Chatfield, Hamren, Hannson, Sandman, Olson, Larson, Kenner and Logan.I have limited information on these names and have run into dead ends with all of them. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or might have some information for me.|
This is an ongoing process, and while I may never have it completed, I hope to at least be able to fill in a few more gaps.It has been an interesting endeavor that has allowed me to learn more about my ancestors and where they came from.I only wish I knew more about their lives and what they were like.
While my family (Swart) is not as extensive as my husband, Chris' family, it is fascinating nonetheless. In the process I discovered that my children have some royalty in their blood from their father's side, as well as some United States Presidents as distant relatives from my side.In fact I discovered that President George Walker Bush is my 10th cousin!I have not yet documented all of this on my Family Treemaker Home Page yet because my hard drive crashed and I lost all of my information.I had many more names and dates that you will not find here that are now completely lost.At some point in time I may resume the task and attempt to recreate what I had lost and upload it my home page.In the meantime, enjoy reading what I've compiled here and I hope that you can find some information that is useful to you.
Please also note that the facts concerning myself and immediate family are correct, and based on first hand knowledge, much of the rest of the information on relatives, particularly the more distant ones, are based on family lore, hearsay and upon the testimony of others.I have supplied sources when possible.I also find mistakes from time to time or connect with relatives who've been able to give me better information since I last updated.I will attempt to make those corrections as soon as possible, so please be advised that this is not as accurate or complete as I would like it to be.
