The Families of Jon and Theresa SwansonUpdated October 28, 2012
Welcome and enjoy - I think everyone wonders at some point and time about their ancestors, who were they and what their lives were like. For those who immigrated to America, Australia and other lands what was their motivation and did they find what they were looking for. And most importantly what has happened to their lives and subsequent generations.
Those are some of the questions that prompted us to begin our search. Many questions have been answered but just as many new questions have come up.
We have found distant relatives in Sweden and in Wales. We have connected with cousins whose relationships are measured in how many times "removed" they are. And for other relatives "removed" means simply distance.
And this quest has brought us friends. We have shared stories over aglass of wine, we have laughed and we have cried. But most importantly we have found family.
If you are related please contact us and we will share what information we have. Many family photos have been scanned and copies are yours for the asking.
