I am seeking information on the Baumann and Beltz families of Wheeling, WV. Joseph Cyrus Baumann was the son of Joseph Baumann and Margaret Beltz.I think Margaret's father served in the Civil War, Union Army and had lived in Virginia, probably born in Germany. Joseph, the elder, was a dairy farmer in Ohio County, WV. Joseph Cyrus was the eldest of 12 or 13, the youngest, named Marcellus.
We are also interested in information about the Teare families of Bedford Township, Ohio. Most immigrated from the Isle of Man in the 19th Century.
