| My present research is on John R. L. Butler and his wife, Margaret Lucretia Fox (Quimby). They were both born around 1805 and married 23 May 1826 according to family history. I first found them on the 1830 Census, Town of Salisbury, Herkimer County. I'm hoping to find their parents and other siblings. Margaret married first a ___ Quimby and had a son William by that marriage. John and Margaret went on to have eleven children: Lucy, John, Norman, Abigail, Sally, Henry, George, Joseph, Gennett (Jeanette?), Electa, and Benjamin.|
I am also researching Robert Knickerbocker and wife, Rachel Howard. Robert is said to have been born in Vermont around 1800 and Rachel in Cortland Co. or Mass. around 1810. They married on 22 Aug. 1830 in Nelson, Madison Co. NY. We believe that they hadeight children. The first is unknown. The rest are:
Minor, Jerome, Jane, Hiram, Emma, Laura, and Edwin. I hope to find their parents and siblings as well as what happened to all their children and descendents.
Any information would be appreciated! Would also hope to meet some new cousins in the process!
