I'm researching the HALL family from Texas County, Cabool, Missouri, where James Omer Hall, my granddad, was born. Before he was around 10 years old, his mother died in a fire accident.Granddad was then sent to an orphanage but soon ran away and ended up in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He may have a brother named Tom but I don't have any other information on his family there.
I'm also researching the Ben F. Jan 14, 1896) and Amy (Beavers)Hall (b. Oct. 26, 1901).Both daughters lived in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
James Omer and Amy (Beavers) Hall had nine children.James Claud, William Edward, Jewell, Cora Imojean, Dewey Gene, Robert Earl, Clifford Harold, Patsy Ann, and an infant twin of Patsy Ann who died at birth.
In addition, I'm researching the Benjamin Franklin Clemons family of Fayetteville/Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born around 1870.He married Martha Burwell (b. Oct. 31, 1877) born in Huntsville, AR.They had 3 daughters Mary Rhodes, Mrs. H.M. Boyd, and Mrs. C.W. Gardner; and 3 sons, Frank of Needles, CA , Elmer Osburn of Amarillo, TX and John (Critty) of Fort Smith, AR who died at the age of 26 on Feb. 5, 1935 (twenty days before my mother was born).
