(Descendents subsquently migrated to Barberton, Summit County, Ohio, where many still are.)
Joseph is the son of John Frederick Romich/Romig (b. April 4, 1713, Ittlingen, Palatine, Germany; wife Catherine Siegfried), who is the son of John Adam Romich/Romig (b. Feb. 13, 1689, Ittlingen; wife Anna Margaretha Bernhard).
Tilley, descended through Foster Tilley b. circa 1785, Stokes County, N.C. (wife Nancy Varnum/Vernon); migrated to Jackson County, Ohio, circa 1824. His son, William Tilley (b. 1819, Stokes County, N.C.; wife Elizabeth Behm, b. Virginia) is the line I'm descended from.
