My family genealogical research started with around 30 names and has uncovered well over 1500 relatives. The foundation surnames are TIPPETT; SMITH; SANKEY; DOLPH and SHULTZ. The very first TIPPETT's came from England and the SHULTZ's came from Germany. Just about all of my relatives resided in Central Pennsylvania (Philipsburg, PA. Centre County) although a few ended up in Nevada, New York State and Florida. I have some photographs of about 30% of my ancestors, some dating back as far as cir. 1808.
Hiram Dolph was the son of Charles Dolph and ? Hundsacker, (Huntsacker ?) both of Philipsburg, PA. area, and was adopted by Henry Shultz abt. 1851 after (supposedly) both natural parents were mauled and killed by a bear. (This has never been confirmed) I'm searching for any previous history of this branch.
Any knowledge of John J. Tippett (cir 1829), John George Shultz (cir 1761) Hiram Dolph (Cir 1850's), David Calvin Smith (cir 1828) or John Milton Sankey (cir 1871) would be greatly appreciated.
