|PATERNAL LINEAGE::Davault/Debolt/Daywalt BECK, German immigrant from the Palantine (Koblenz), arrived in Philadelphia in August 1750. Living in Philadelphia area 1750-1768, he moved his family to Rowan County, NC. Children were Jacob, Philip, Margaret, John, George, and Catherine, all named in his will. From the children of Davault and Catherine, many Beck descendants now communicate. My website is the story of my heritage and many relatives.This is my paternal family.|
MATERNAL LINEAGE:: Hannah Boone (1746-1828),sister of Col. Daniel Boone, was my fourth great grandmother who first married John Sgtewart, a frontier buddy of Daniel Boone, and after his demise in Kentucky, Hannah married Richard Pennington in 1777 near Yadkin River, NC. The Penningtons lived in Montgomery Co., VA when Richard was in the Revolutionary War,moved then to Wilkes Co., NC, and in 1798 left for Kentucky, and settled in Barren/Monroe Co., KY. Daniel B. Pennington, second son of Hannah and Richard, had son Isaiah Crouch Pennington, he had daughter Prudence E Pennington, who married Robert Thomas Beavers in Clay Co., TN and their daughter Martha Minerva Beavers married Jefferson TITTLE in Hamilton County, TN 1899. Their daughter, Alta Mae Tittle m. John Charles Beck in Wills Point, Van Zandt Co., TX 1927.Earlier genergations:: John Tittle, b. c. 1712 settled in Lancaster Co., PA after his arrival in America. I have recorded our family lineage.
