We have a problem with the earliest record of the Tulett family in Harting. The IGI shows 8-children born to John Tulett and Mary White between 1780 and 1796.The only marriage we can trace is that of John TULIP and Mary White at St. Mary and St.Gabriel, Harting on 1-11-1779. We have a copy of the Church Registry entryand consider that the dates tie in very well. However we can find no record of any kind of either John Tulip or Tulett previous to that date.
