The Burk Family of New Jersey
| I am trying to research who my great great grandfathers parents are. Charles Ezra Burk was born at Schenectady New York Sept 13,1844.After the civil war he relocated in Paterson,NJ.(circa 1870) He married Elizabeth Massaker (Dec28,1871).They had five children.William,Walter,Roy,Jennie,Minnie,(BURK).He also had a sister (Sarah Elizabeth Burk b.1858) and a brother (Lewis I Burk).The two brothers served in NY Regiments during the civil war.After the war they went to Paterson NJ,and opened a Butcher Shop.Charles Ezra Burk passed away (May17,1933). | The Burk Family of New Jersey Updated March 20, 2006 |
