The Waggle, Angelo, Lewis, Wood,Taylor, Cowden, GenealogyUpdated May 30, 2003
I spent nearly three years trying to find my grandparents ancestors. The surname was spelled Waggle and there are plenty of them throughout the history of this country. The break came when I learned that my Grandfather spelled his name with one "g" when he married. They came to California 5 years later from Illinois and his name was spelled with two "gs" from then on. Within a few months I found most of the information back to Johann Adam Wegel. I also had help of another Wagle researcher. Some info from the Mormon Records, some from Ancestry.com, some from Family Tree Maker sources. These records are for my father's side of the family. The Lewis, Wood is for my mother's ancestors with most of the work done by 'cousin' Connie Moretti, andThe Taylor, Cowden for my wife's people. Thanks to Ken Taylor for much information. Also all Reports are a work in progress as there are still some loose ends to tie up.
In order to get the genealogy program I use to recognize the ties between Wagle and Waggle I had to include (Waggle)as part of the surname for all not named Waggle. Therefor all names in the genealogy report have (Waggle) included. Perhaps there would have been another way to accomplish this but I didn't know it.
