******* Culpeper County Records, Deed Book AA, P. 250 (LDS microfilm #0030953). A deed dated October 18, 1804, Jeremiah and Sarah "Sally" (Willis) Ingram sell 3 parcels of land to Sally's uncle, Reuben Garnett for $5,304. The second parcel of 245 acres, was originally purchased from Sally's uncle Reuben Willis. And the third parcel of 15 acres was originally purchased from Reuben Garnett.
There was a large group that seemed to have made the trip from Culpeper County to Adair County, Kentucky, including Sally's sister Elizabeth Nancy (Willis) Waggener, wife of Herbert Green Waggener. They also seemed to have taken considerable amount of money and property with them. Jeramiah is listed with 17 slaves and 5 horses.
