At first glance, the name Walklate appears unusual.
However, there are over 3,500 Walklates all over the world.Most people have met one.
My interest is in those who settled in St. Albans, in Hertfordshire, England in the middle of the eighteenth century.
I am particularly interested in knowing about those who lived in the eighteenth and nineteenth century.Their lives, their loves and their tragedies.
The prize at the moment is to get beyond John Walklate who appears in St. Albans around the middle of the eighteenth Century. If you know who he is or where he came from I would be eternally grateful.
