Died -- At his home in this city last evening, May 26, 1892,Mr. Julius Martin, in the fifty-seventh year of his age.
Mr. Martin was born at Soldin, Germany, April 24, 1835, cameto this country when about sixteen years of age settling in Wisconsin with hisparents. He was married to Miss BerthaGoettel at Waukesha, Wisconsin, September 9th, 1858, who with their fivechildren, Frank, Julius, Clara, Samuel and Lulu survive him. Mr. Martin has been a resident in businessand by his death the town loses a prominent business factor. He was a member of the German Evangelicalchurch under the auspices of which his funeral will take place at 2 o'clockSunday afternoon. The remains will betaken from the house to the cemetery, after which the sermon will be preachedat the church, Rev. Youngblood officiating. The family have the sympathy of the community in their sad bereavement.

Mr. Frank Martin and family arrived from Illinois lastSaturday noon. Their visit was broughtto a sudden termination by the death of Mr. Martin's brother, Julius.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Burglar, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Mr.August Martin, Mr. Fred Martin and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Goettel of Lansing, Iowa,Mrs. Beske, of Brownsville, Iowa, Mr. Herman Martin and daughter, of NewAlbion, Iowa, Mr. Herman Kerberger and sister Miss Lizzie, of Le Mars, MissSelma Kerberger, of Lansing, Iowa, and Mrs. Dremel, of Minneapolis, Minnesota,attended the funeral of Mr. Julius Martin last Sunday.
