Benjamin Harrison Purves had a beautiful voice.He knew music so well he could pick up a song he had never heard or seen and sing it.He could play anything that could make music even to a comb with a cigarette paper over it.He could take an instrument that was warped or broken in any way, take it apart and put it back and repair it and refunish it.Lamoyne said it would sound as good as a new one.
