Welcome to the HOME PAGE of George Richard (LIGON) Wisdom (previously the HOME PAGE of my father Reece LIGON Wisdom). You will find information about the surnames I am currently researching. Some of the information is proven but not all. I will be happy to exchange information with anyone researching the same surnames.

DRURY, KNIGHT, LIGON, MOORE, NORTHCROSS, PUCKETT, RUSSELL, SMITH, TURNER, WISDOM, COX.
My father, Reece LIGON Wisdom main ancestry line is LIGON and TURNER. The LIGONS moved from TX and settled in and around Fox, Carter Co., OK, and later, about 1938, moved to Hobbs, Lea Co., NM. The TURNERS moved from TN, MS, OK, TX. They settled in Burnyville, Love Co., OK and in Carter Co., OK.
My mother, Georgie Margaret (KNIGHT) WISDOM main ancestry line is KNIGHT and RUSSELL. The Knights settled in and around San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX. The RUSSELLS moved from IL and settled in and around San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX.
