|I am researching the Wright and Pemberton families from Oscroft and Tarvin and also the Whittinghams and Southerns of Tarporley and the Brooks' from Whitby, Ellesmere Port and family 17 from the Ismay line from Wigton in Cumberland.|
I have been researching my family tree for nearly ten years now. I began shotly after my father Arthur Wright passed away and found myself completely alone in the world apart for my beautiful children. What you might call an older orphan. It comes to us all.
I had spent lots of time, in numerous conversation with my mum and dad, about previous generations of both sides of the family.I never thought to write anything down at the time. Well would you?Who knows where your future will take you.My future destined me to family research.I have loved every minute spent delving into history.I am fascinated by who my predecesors were.
My research has led me to discover new relations that I never knew I had and also to link up with relations I had never met but knew existed.I am now in touch with people all over the world from both sides of my family. And I know that I am not alone anymore. The trouble is I'm hooked and continue to search and discover.
