Martin Byerly married Margaret_______? they had six children, four boys and two girls,one of their son's, Thomas Claiborne Byerly (2) marriage was to Sarah Jane Jordan, Thomas and Sarah Jane Jordan,were my great grandparents.

Leo is researching the William Wright family of Amherst County, Virginia. William Wright first appears in Virginia on February 4, 1746, at Albemarle County, Virginia, when a servey of 166 Acres of land was filed for him in S. B. 1/35. William Wright married Esther (_____)? they had one daughter (_____) Wright, and five sons: Robert, James, John, Andrew and William Jr.
In March of this year (2001) I received more infrmation from Ann Whitlock, of Yucipa, California, on William Wright's Descendants, she supplied the picture of George E. Smith, and Sarah Jane Wright, Sarah Jane was the gg.grand-daughter of William Wright, Ann also supplied a copy of the letter that is in the notes for Alfred Wright, to view this picture, scroll down to George E. Smith, and Sarah Jane Wright.
In March of this year (2002) I received the picture of Absalom Wright and his wife, Elizabeth (Tynes) (Conerly) it was supplied by Barbara Wright Moak, this picture is now the oldest known picture of one of William Wright's descendants.
In addition, we researching the Birdwell, Murray, Dickerson, Head, Dawson, Woods and Henderson surnames.
