| || Notes for ELWIN GEORGE BLIGHT:|
From the Clio Messenger:
June 12, 1919 - "Elwin, the small son of Mr. and Mrs. James Blight fell from an upstairs window at the home of his parents, sustaining a bad fracture of the shoulder.He was taken to Hurley hospital, Saturday, where an X-ray examination was made in order to determine the exact nature of the fracture.The injury is believed to be quite serious and further surgical treatment may be required to correct it."
June 19, 1919 - "Little Elwin Blight, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Blight, who fell from a second story window, as noted in this paper last week, was taken to Hurley hospital, Tuesday, where and X-ray examination resulted in an operation being performed in which the bones in the little boy's shoulder were wired together so they would unite in the best possible manner.This accident is exceptionally pathetic, because the little victim is but a few months past two years of age, and both he and his parents will have the sincerest sympathy of all who know them."
