In 1768, Willis and Grace Etheridge deeded land to Matthias Etheridge. The land was bounded by Gum Swamp; Frances Credle's line, Samuel Etheeridge line, Solomon Etheridge line, Willis Etheridge, and Samuel Hapsery.Witnesses were George Powers, Caleb Ballance, and Edw.
