6. Thomas² LINCOLN (Abraham³, John⁴, Mordecai⁵, Mordecai⁶, Samuel⁷, Edward⁸, Richard⁹, Robert¹⁰, Robert¹¹) was born in Rockingham, VA 20 Jan 1780. Thomas died 17 Jan 1851 in Beechland, Co., KY., at 70 years of age.

He married Nancy HANKS in Washington Co., Kentucky, 12 Jun 1806. Nancy was born in Campbell Co., Virginia 5 Feb 1784. Nancy was the daughter of Joseph HANKS and Nancy SHIPLEY. Nancy died 5 Oct 1818 in Centryville, Spencer, Ind, at 34 years of age.

Thomas LINCOLN and Nancy HANKS had the following children:

7 i. Sarah¹ LINCOLN was born 1807.

+ 1 ii. Abraham LINCOLN was born 12 Feb 1809.

8 iii. Thomas LINCOLN was born 1811/12. Thomas died by 1815 at 3 years of age.
