He married Margaret Butler in Aston-le-Walls, Northamptonshire, England, 3 Aug 1588. Margaret was born in Cuckfields, Sussex, England after 1568. Margaret was the daughter of William Butler and Margaret Greeke. Margaret died abt 1652.

Lawrence Washington and Margaret Butler had the following child:
