| Laura Ingalls
Wilder drew from experience when she penned her classic book series
Little House on the Prairie. As a child, Laura's family were
pioneers who moved around the west and she attended school in many
different states. It is interesting to note that she didn't begin
writing the popular series until she was in her 60's. Her lineage
can be traced back to the Mayflower's Richard Warren and other early
colonial New England families. |
