I've been trying to search for any of my ancestors with no luck at all. As far as I know, my family on my father's side came from a fairly wealthy family from Finland, the Kaupians (sorry, if I spelled that wrong; it's quite likely, knowing me). It was my great-grandfather who left Finland and came to either Canada or the United-States, (that's something I'd like to find out). He married a woman from, again, Canada or the United-States.
I've started a small family tree with the help of my mother and my father, although my father also did not know that much about our Finnish family.
