Aanensens of New Zealand and England

We are trying to trace our descendence from Norway.
Terkelsen Aanensen or maybe Aanen ....... (we're not quite sure about the name but John's daughter always talked about a Torkel) married a Karen Jansen(so the story goes) and they had a son, John Aanensen, born 1851- 1852 in Oslo (according to his New Zealand naturalization papers). They also had a daughter Ingeborg and another son Olaf.
Between 1870 - 1880 John(Jan)left Norway for New Zealand. We have a photo of Terkelsen(Torkelsen) with Grimstad and the Photographer's name E.Helmer written on it.
Any information would be much appreciated.
