Stephen Becker (son of Jacob Herman Becker and Susana Ecker) was born June 06, 1832, and died August 25, 1913. He married Sarah Ann Seip.

Stephen had a sister, Mrs Snyder of Mahanoy City...we have picture.
Stephen Becker was a Private in Co D.147th Regiment , Pennsylvania Infantry and was entitled to a pension at the rate of 24 $ per month starting May 21, 1912.
A document proclaims.. To All Whom it May Concern,,,Know yee that Stephen Becker a Private of Captain William E. Goodman's Company D 147th Regiment of Pennsylvania Infantry Volunteers who was enrolled on the 26 th day of February 1864 to serve 3 years or during the war is hereby discharged from the service of the United States this 15 th day of July 1865 at near Alexandria Virginia by reason of special order(no.160 ?? ....of Washington) July 5, 1865. Said Stephen Becker born in Northampton County in the State of Pennsylvania is 31 years of age, 5 feet 7 3/4 inches high, Fair complexion, grey eyes, light hair and by occupation when enrolled a laborer. Given near Alexandria, Va this 15th day of July 1865...signed E. Alexander , Capt and Christian Klein
