I am Brenda Gilbert Abbott. My Mother is Pauline GABLE Gilbert. Her father was Thomas Franklin GABLE. His father was Henry Napoleon GABLE. H. N.'s father was Henry Adam or Adam Henry GABLE. H.N.'S mother was Christiana BLACK. Some have her name as Christine or Christina but H.N.'s sister told me in 1971 that it was Christiana.
Henry Adam (or vice-versa) and Christiana had two children. William Luther(b.23 Sep 1846 and d. 3 Nov 1930 in Lexington Co., SC and is buried in Red Bank Cemetery. He married Elizabeth (Eliza)Crout, who was b. 10 Jul 1855 and d. 21 Jul 1940, and is buried in Red Bank Cemetery in Lexington Co., SC. They had 8 children. Henry Napoleon (b. 30 Jun 1847 in GA and d. 11 Aug 1934 and is buried in St. Michael's Cemetery in AL. He married Mary Catherine Shealey, b.16 Aug 1847,in Lexington Co.,SC and d. 25 Feb 1932 in Cleburne Co. AL, buried in St. Michael's in Cleburne Co,AL. They had 8 children. My grandfather, Thomas Franklin was the 5th child, born 18 Feb 1880.
Henry Adam and Christiana were in GA/AL when H.N. was born and Henry Adam died in GA/AL. I have not found a burial. His wife Christiana, took the boys and went back to SC. She married a man named John Goff.
I am seeking her parents and Henry Adam's burial place.
