The ABLEY/ABBLEY Family Tree, England

Updated October 10, 2004

About Our Family Research

The Tree at present starts in 1520 with two brothers Richard Abley and William Abley located in Condover, Shropshire, England.
The name is believed to have Welsh origins, and may be linked to the village of Abberley, Worcestershire, England.
I have researched the tree for the past 20 years, and with the help of especially Michael Abley (deceased), and others too numerous to name, my data base has over 3,000 names.
The family name has various spellings but mainly are either ABLEY or ABBLEY and is located in parts of the United Kingdom such as London, Yorkshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Kent, Herefordshire, and the Welsh boarders. There are also branches in Australia and Canada.
If you would like more information about the Abley/Abbley Tree I can be contacted by email at chrisabbley@blueyonder.co.uk
