I am very new & green to the Genealogy & Family tree field of research My Father Presently resides in Dade City Fla. his DOB 06/23/1944 born Gainesville Ga. My Grand Father John Kitchens Abercrombie born & resides in Lumpkin Co. Ga. DOB 11/04/1920 and is WW-2 Veteran 4 years Army 8 years Navy. My Grt. Grd. Father was A John Abercrombie also From Lumpkin Co. Ga. not sure of if any Middle name.His wife my Grt. Grd. Mother was Elvira Boggus no middle name if any. 5 children Robert,Jeff, Ruby,no name daughter murdered in early 20's,and the youngest John Kitchens Aber Mentioned above. I have very little to go on my family is very vauge and not much help in my edeavers to work on this. The following is not substanciated but likely possible and where I need asistance 2 brothers John & James Abercrombie enumerated in the 1820 census of Hall Co. Laid to rest in a Cavender Cemetary I believe this John had 10 children. I'm trying to trace them back to Laurens Co. SC. and on back to Charleston SC. shipping records and on back to Scotland my wife Brittain got this computer about 2 weeks ago and prior to that we have had no experience at this sort of thing we would be very appreciative of any help or guidance on this Family tree bussiness.
