A lot can happen in three years. Over the past three years I have discovered hundreds of living relatives and many more of past generations. In the process, I have renewed my connection with St. Louis, MO, where I spent some childhood years and most of my teens.

The event that launched the process was the discovery of my grandfather's name on a web genealogy page. This was the one grandparent about whose origins I knew the least. The find brought me St. Louis cousins for whom I have since developed the deepest regard and affection.
