I am trying to find the family of Sam Acree Of Willacoochee, GA.
son of Ned Acree & Fannie Densen? Dixon? other children, Oslean, David, Richard George, John, Dan, James, Henry, Lucretia, Sarah, Classyor Clancy, Mae, Jake Edward,Ned jr. Sams grandfather was Squire Acree who married a Charlotte Sawyer in Dougherty Co Ga.in the late 1800s,they had a son name Will ,he married a Francis Duncan on Aug. 21, 1893 in Dougherty CO, GA and a Jennie Watson On 25, Sept 1898, In Mitchell Co. Ga. Their Daughters name Was Hattie,the 1881 Ga Census also list a Louvina Lawson in Squires househole as mother in law, Squire Walton as nephew, Thomas Brown as Nephew, I also found in the 1870 GA. Census Cresy Acue head of household dob, 1765,Emily ,b1842,dau. Millege, b1867 dau, Ned 17b1862, Richard,b1838 son, Squire b1815-1816? husb, Thomas b1859 son. Sam married Jannie M. Moffett? dau of Frank Moffett & Sallie Williams. Children for Sam James Henry Acree, deceased, Loarine Acree Byrd, deceased, Doris Acree, deceased,six others living in Ga, Ohio, IL, WA, Family Reunion first week in Aug, all Acrees welcome, please contact Author for information on reunion.
