Unfortunately, I do not know all too much about my ancestors. I know that there is a Joe Winsett, from Mississippi (about 4 generations ago). I believe that he was Indian, Chickasaw maybe.
I have heard the name Craton Newell, from the British Isles, this is several generations ago. I believe that he came here with several brothers. From that name came my grandfather Newell Arthur Williams. I believe he was born in Illinois, then moved to Alabama, then to florida. His wife was Lois Daughtry, born in Mississippi, then moved to Alabama (she had two sisters, Maxine and Juanita). They had two kids, Arthur and Melissa (my mother). Lois's Mother was Estella. I think that she is from the Winsett Side.
I am trying to find out more information. As you can see, I do not have that much to go on.
