Griner / Dotson / Roach / Greenway (Pooler, GA)

My name is Jennifer Griner Afroozi. My Dad is Martin Earl Griner. This website is going to be dedicated specifically to my lineage through my father's parents. My Grandfather's father was a Griner and his mother was a Dotson. My Grandmother doesn't know much about her family, but her maiden name was Greenway and she was raised by her Aunt and Uncle who were of the Roach Family. All of these famalies were located in the Pooler, Georgia area (near Savannah) during the 40's and 50's. This is were I plan to begin and work out from there. So far I found that my great-grandmother was 1/2 cherokee. The Dotson's came from Ireland about 6 generations ago, and the Griner's came from Germany about 8 generation's ago.
