The reason why i joined here is to locate my other relatives aside from my immediate family. My grandfather Lucilo Dellota Afrondoza died early. I never had the chance to meet him. Though he has five children with his wife Aida Villanueva (my grand mother). Since my grandfather died early, my grandmother were left to take care of their kids. At first she cannot handle financially so she distributed/sent the kids to their relatives in Panitan, Capiz,Philippines. Unfortunately because of the event that occured, one of their son Marvin was lost. I have no way of confirming more information because my grandmother passed away decades ago. Their childrens' name are Bella, Marilou, Marvin (missing since childhood), Jonathan (deceased), Dionne (my father is the youngest).
Though recently through my research i found my grandather's nephews and their families. They are recently living in Davao City. I haven't met them in person yet. But we are now communicating. I was able to talked to Uncle Ving Afrondoza on the phone recently. And i learned from him that originally our last name is Frondoza. Though for whatever reason one of our ancestors put an A before, that it became Afrondoza. So as generation to generation passed on, we the late generations have no way of confirming how are we related to the Frondoza Families. Though we can only confirm the other Afrondozas'. My great grand parents name were Elogio Afrondoza and Caridad Dellota. Their children (my grandfathers and grandmothers) are Lucilo (my original grandfather), Calvin, Orlina (deceased), Judith, Pepito, Aimee (deceased)
I've also learned recently that my grandmother Orlina married an American soldier named Willie Edward Boston which i also confirmed that they both died already. They were burried in Illinois. I was also told that grandmother Orlina had a son. But they don't remember his name.
I am hoping that someday all the Afrondoza Family will be reunited.
