Aftimos came from the Hajjar Family that emigrated from Damascus and Hourane (Alep Region) to Lebanon and it was divided to several groups, one of them settled in Deir El Kamar and one former grand father whos alias was Aftimos transmitted his alias to his sons.

Aftimos son of Jerjes son of Mehmeh son of Jerjes son of Nehmeh El Hajjar.
