My Super High Output performance "SHO"

Updated March 11, 2002

About Our Family Research

Don't know what a SHO means?
You are missing it out!!
SHO means S= Super H= High O= Output. SHO's are the coolest, fastest and sport sedans in the world, which are manufactured with co- operaion of Ford Taurus with Yamaha engines, the manufacturer of snow mobiles and motorcycles. So to go in theme for SHO's story the first SHO that manufacured was March 21, 1989 in Texas, which started the first generation of Ford Taurus SHO's.

The first and second geneartion of SHO's are 89-91 and 92-95 with Yamaha V6 24 valve DOHC ( Double Over Head Cam) engine that produces more than 220h/p.

All first genaration SHO's came with 5 speed manual transmission , and 2 genaration with manual and automatic transmission.

My story about being interested in SHO's staretd since i came to U.S.A. in 1998 and i really went after those beauty, sports and fast sedans. And now i have a 1993 SHO which i got it august 2001 from mt older brother which he had taken a really good care on it and after he gave it to me because he bought a 2001 MUSTANG Cobra GT .

My SHO is 1993 with Yamaha engine that produces more than 220 h/p at 6 x 1000 Rpm manual 5 speed transmission, which gives the engine more power and relese speeding and racing. Also SHO are really expensive to fix but on one like mine i haven't had any problems at all , i just have done the generals , engine tune up, brakes, and tires. All other things are in excellent condition. I really take care about it becasue as they are fast and beautiful sport sedans and which they don't get manufacture anymore because the co -operation with Yamaha ended in Novemeber 1999 after the third and last V8 SHO generation was manufactured.

I just want to say to all of You that have SHO's don't get rid of that cars because they are something that they don't get beat up easily by other cars, and they are also good project cars to work on them.
