I set about researching my genealogical roots some years ago. I quickly became surprised at the number of sir-names that appeared in my family tree, and that some of these roots go back to France (LaForge), Italy (Aidala), Romania (Segal), Canada (LaForge), and American Indian (Satterley), Exactly what country the Sir-name Conklin comes from, I do not know, but this was my Grandmother's name Rosie C. Conklin form Maybrook, NY. I work on my hobby for a while and then I will put it away when it becomes frustrating only to pull it out a few months later and work on it some more, and so my project goes. I'd like to go as far back as I can,(including Italy, Romania, France, Canada, and the America Indian) on any branch name in the tree. I'd like to pass it on to my children in the hopes they will keep it up to date as they grow their families, and that they will pass it on to their children and so on and so on. Take a look at my tree, you never know my information may help you, and I would certainly appreciate any information you might be able to give me, who knows we may have some common links. Happy hunting.
Sincerely, Dana G. Aidala
